Guy Landry serves as the president of Lanson’s Drywall, overseeing all facets of the company’s management and business development activities. With the support of a dedicated team of professionals, Guy has propelled Lanson’s to become Vancouver Island’s premier drywall systems provider. His mission is to enrich the lives of those around him by striving to be the best person he can be. Guy cherishes the personal connections he forms with customers and employees alike, finding fulfillment in their smiles and friendships. When he's not on the job, you'll often find Guy on the greens, indulging his love for golf as an avid member of the Nanaimo Golf and Country Club. As a passionate sports fan, he enjoys spending time cheering on some of his favorite teams, the Vancouver Canucks and Seattle Seahawks. Kris' story is one woven into the fabric of the drywall industry. His journey has been one of dedication and determination. From his early days working for his family’s drywall business, to stepping out to build a successful drywall laborer company of his own. Fast forward a few years of building his crew, willingness to tackle multiple projects across Vancouver Island, Kris’ business sense and expertise, caught the eye of Guy. Leading to their partnership and co-ownership of Lanson’s Drywall Systems Ltd. Together, they oversee the company's operations with a shared commitment to excellence. Outside of work, Kris finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. Family is his foundation, and he treasures every moment spent with loved ones. You'll often find Kris hitting the open road on his Harley, playing a round of golf, working in his yard or enjoying a good BBQ with friends and family. When he's in need of some R&R, Kris escapes to the great outdoors. Camping under the stars and embracing the quality time with family and friends alike. Yves Landry, one of the original founders of Lanson’s Drywall alongside his son Guy in 1999, brings over 61 years of invaluable experience to the drywall industry. Renowned as a master plasterer, lather, and drywall finisher, Yves is a true legend in the trade. While he could easily retire, his passion for the business keeps him active. As our dedicated delivery driver, he ensures our materials are always in check. With 6 children and 11 grandchildren, family is at the heart of everything Yves does. In his free time, he used to enjoy curling and bowling, but now finds solace in house gardening, cultivating beauty at home.

Aaron Smith

(Operations Manager) – Been with Lansons Since 2009

Being in the drywall industry since his teens, Aaron has mastered all facets of the drywall industry. Now, as Operations Manager, he oversees job sites and crews. He is the go-to person in the company when it comes to questions regarding manpower, materials, and scheduling. When needed, Aaron is willing to strap on a tool belt and get his hand dirty, showing the crews just how many square feet of drywall that can be hung in a day. Off the clock, you'll catch Aaron at baseball games, teeing off on the golf course, and surprisingly, enjoying ballet (thanks to his daughter). He’s a movie fanatic, hits the gym when he can, and cherishes his Sunday dinners that he cooks for his family.

(Office Manager) – Been with Lansons since 2013

As a graduate of Vancouver Island University’s Business Administration program, Echo brings invaluable knowledge to her role managing the office of Nanaimo’s largest drywall company. She oversees all things administrative and financial, ensuring that the office is run seamlessly. She’s the linchpin holding Lanson’s together, as voiced by her colleagues and peers on numerous occasions. Beyond the office, Echo finds joy in travelling to new destinations around the globe, going on camping adventures with friends and family, and soaking up the energy and excitement of live concerts. When she's not out and about, you'll likely find her unwinding in her pool with a captivating book or going on a hike in one of the many beautiful locations that Vancouver Island offers.

Russ Holmberg

(Sales Manager and Safety Officer) -Been with Lansons since 2021

With under 3 years in the construction industry, all at Lansons, Russ is already finding his groove. Starting out in the clean up crew, he very quickly worked his way up the ladder due to his dedication and hard work and now he has two different positions, making him an invaluable member of the team. He was an integral part of Lanson’s becoming Safety COR certified. Most evenings, Russ can be found coaching his son’s atoms football team through Football Nanaimo, a fulfilling role that allows him to give back to the community and bond with his son. Outside of coaching, Russ dabbles in woodwork, and when time permits, he enjoys hitting the golf course for a well-deserved break. Despite his busy schedule, Russ values every opportunity for relaxation and connection, making the most of his downtime.

Picking up a hammer at 16, Mike has been working in the construction industry since then, specializing in framing. He now oversees and manages most of our large commercial job sites, quite often getting requested by various General Contractors to work on their sites. His wealth of knowledge and experience go unparalleled. In his spare time, you'll find Mike swinging clubs as a proud member of Nanaimo Golf & Country Club. However, his real joys are escaping on vacations and making memories camping with his grandkids.

Mike holds the title of the company’s longest-standing employee. His invaluable contributions go beyond words; not only does he manage a sizable team of taping experts, but he also ensures top-notch quality control on all projects, maintaining Lanson’s reputation for excellence. Off-duty, you'll find Mike carving through the Nanaimo Lakes area on his four-wheeler during winter and spring, while summers are reserved for peaceful canoe trips. Dave Brillinger came to work for Lanson’s having many years experience working in the construction and drywall industry. So even though he had only been working for Lanson’s for a short period of time, when the position of drywall manager became available, Dave was awarded the position. He is now responsible for scheduling and organizing the boarding crew, also ensuring their quality of work meets Lanson’s high standards. Beyond the worksite, Dave finds complete enjoyment while sport fishing, channels his discipline as a black belt in taekwondo at the Nanaimo Taekwondo School, and hones his strength at the local gym. Dave's dedication to his craft and his love for the outdoors define his professional and personal pursuits.

With decades of experience in the construction industry, Tim is such a huge asset to the Lanson’s team. He, along with his steel crew, are responsible for constructing some of the largest commercial buildings in Nanaimo and surrounding areas. The pride he takes in running a tight ship on his sites, always ensures smooth operations from start to finish. Tim is all about family. Whether coaching baseball or hockey, hunting, fishing, quadding, playing hockey, or camping, he's fully immersed in creating memories with his loved ones. Having spent almost as much time in BC as he did in Ontario, we can almost call him a true West Coaster now.

(Insulation Manager) -Been with Lansons since 2012

Rob's journey at Lanson’s began in 2012 as a general laborer, but his ambition and positive attitude quickly earned him recognition from management and the owners. When the opportunity arose, Rob seamlessly stepped into the role of Insulation Manager. In this position, he oversees the insulation crew, handles quotes for residential customers, manages insulation supply orders, and still lends a hand with installations. Outside of work, Rob enjoys hitting the links for a round of golf, kicking the ball around on the soccer field, and dreaming of future travel adventures.
