Guy is the president of Lanson’s Drywall and oversees all aspects of the company’s management and business development activities. Supported by a great team of dedicated and experienced professionals, Guy has been able to grow Lanson’s into Vancouver Island’s premier drywall systems provider.  His goal is to improve the lives of those people around him by being the best person he can be.  “I love it when I see my customers smiling from their experience because of the personal friendships that have grown with either myself, or my employees.”  Anyone who knows Guy knows that this couldn’t be more true…he is genuinely a wonderful individual.

Born and raised in the drywall industry, it was no surprise that this was the path that Kris chose to go down. Kris begun by installing drywall himself, and eventually started his own drywall labourer company.  After many years of being Lanson’s foremost subcontractor for drywall labour, Kris decided to join forces with Guy and become one of the co-owners of the company.  Kris now works alongside of Guy to oversee all aspects of Lanson’s Drywall.

Yves is one of the founders of Lanson’s Drywall, and has more than 45 years’ experience in the drywall industry. Known as one of the masters of the trade, Yves is a master plasterer, lather and drywall finisher. Although Yves is beyond the age of retirement, his love for the business keeps him working by doing small repair jobs as well as small deliveries to our job sites.

As a graduate of Vancouver Island University’s Business Administration program, Echo possess the knowledge that is required to run the office of Nanaimo’s largest drywall company.  Being the only person who works in the office, Echo is responsible for all things administrative and financial.  It is said by everyone who works for Lanson’s that Echo is, “the glue that holds us together”.

After running his own company for many years, Robert decided to take a different approach to the construction industry and joined Lanson’s Drywall Systems as our estimator.  His past experiences, expertise, and proficient nature have made him a huge attribute to the team.  Using industry leading software to cost jobs accurately and efficiently, Robert often works long hours to provide our clients with detailed quotes.  Not going unnoticed is his ability to co-ordinate our projects, and assist with all facets of project management.

Mike has been a journeyman taper for the past 35 years, 9 of which have been with Lanson’s – making him the company’s longest term employee.  It’s hard to put into words all the great things that Mike brings to the company.  Not only is Mike in charge of managing a large group of taping employees, he is also responsible for quality control on all jobs.  He ensures that Lanson’s has completed all of its jobs to the high standards it’s known for.

With 14 years of drywall experience (7 years with Lanson’s), Aaron has spent his whole career in the drywall industry.  After only working for Lanson’s for a few years, it was very apparent that Aaron was one the cornerstones that the company could rely on to help build a solid foundation.  Realizing this, Kris and Guy gave him the position of Drywall Foreman.  Aaron now supervises the job sites and coordinates the boarding crews, in amongst still installing drywall.

Shaun has been working with Lanson’s for the past 7 years.   Throughout his time here, he has either worked or aided in every division of the company.  However, his excellent ability to assist in the design and assembly of structural steel studs found him working with it more and more.  With his strong leadership skills and exceptional work ethic, the position of Steel Stud Foreman was a natural fit for Shaun.  As the foreman, Shaun leads a hard-working team of individuals and is responsible for creating some cutting-edge steel stud systems.

Rob started working for Lanson’s in 2012 as a general labourer on our job sites.  From here he decided to expand his knowledge and try his hand at installing insulation.  It wasn’t long before management and the owners noticed the hard work and dedication that Rob exudes on a daily basis.  So when the Insulation Manager position became vacant, it was very easy decision to award it to Rob.  As Insulation Manager, Rob is responsible for doing quotes for our residential customers, ordering insulation supplies for all of our jobs, as well as still helping install insulation.
