Most commercial construction projects have soundproofing requirements and in some cases, effective soundproofing can be critical. Pictured above is the Parker-Pacific Inland Kenworth dealership and maintenance facility in Nanaimo, BC. Lanson’s Drywall was instrumental in all phases of the construction process from the exterior steel stud framing to the interior finishing. One of the key requirements was to soundproof the maintenance bays where Kenworth services the vehicles in order to keep sound from travelling through into other parts of the building which house the sales, parts and management offices and showrooms. The soundproofing requirements were not only met, but exceeded.
